Rachel's Role: Wendy Darling

Synopsis:

Wendy Darling, a young girl of Edwardian London, lives in a world of fantasy and dazzles her brothers with stories of pirates and fairy tales. However, her father in a night of rage confides in Wendy that she must “grow up” and stop acting like a child. Wendy is rather distraught upon hearing this, so when a boy looking for his shadow shows up at her window with promises of teaching her to fly and take her  to Neverland where she will “never have to worry about grown up things again” Wendy accepts his offer. The boy, of course, is none other than Peter Pan and he escorts Wendy and her brothers to Neverland where an ongoing war between Peter and unspeakably evil Captain Hook has been going on for decades. Wendy rejoices in the freedom of living in a world with no adult prospects, but soon realizes that to not grow up means a loose certain aspects of life which she desires to experience.
